Beginning in 2007, ADPAA started a tradition of collecting donations during its Halloween dress up week for the Child Life Department at Blank Children’s Hospital.  This led to other ways in which we supported the hospital including our annual performance at their Festival of Trees and Lights.  Due to the overwhelming generosity of our ADPAA families, in 2018 Ankeny Dance & Performing Arts Academy was recognized with a donor brick at the hospital for cumulative donations over $10,000.  We are so excited to continue both of these programs and have also added Mercy Hospital’s Child Life Department to our donations as well.
