Ankeny Dance and Performing Arts Academy has a state
of the art facility with top-of-the-line Stagestep flooring and fully spung wooden raised flooring to protect dancers legs,
knees, and tendons while giving them the very best of surfaces on which to learn.
We

Ankeny
Dance believes in keeping our recitals to approximately 2 hours in length with a professional format that is both entertaining
and fun for the performers and the audience. Our recitals are held every spring at C.Y. Stephens Auditorium, one of the finest
venues in the region on the beautiful campus of Iowa State University.
We
provide waiting areas and huge viewing windows into our studios so parents can observe classes all year long. Most dance
studios prohibit parental observations. We believe parents have a right to see what they are paying for when
it comes to the instruction their children receive. We also believe that being able to watch your children learn and
grow is as rewarding for the parent as it is for your child.
Ankeny Dance
sells dance apparel such as leotards, shoes and tights right in our studio for your convenience.
Our extra ballet classes allow serious dancers the opportunity to take separate classes emphasizing ballet
and pointe if they choose.
Ankeny Dance will always have a lead teacher
plus 1 or 2 assistants allowing an excellent teacher-pupil ratio and personalized instruction for your child.
